RMS-108 Marasai (Unicorn Version)

There was one surgeon who worked on night shift in a school hospital. He had just finished an operation and was on his way down to the basement. He entered the elevator and there was just one other person there.

He casually chatted with the woman while the elevator descended. When the elevator door opened, another woman was about to enter when the doctor slammed the close button and punched the button to the highest floor. Surprised, the woman reprimanded the doctor for being rude and asked why he did not let the other woman in.

The doctor said, “That was the woman I just operated on. She died while I was doing the operation. Didn’t you see the red wristband she was wearing which we used to tag the dead?”

The woman smiled, raised her arm, and said, “Something like this?”

As a Federation fan, it's creepy how more and more mono-eyed suits are infiltrating my collection. Now, I'm not entirely against them but I find it fascinating that I'm getting units which I otherwise won't even look at before.

For the Marasai, I saw the actual WIP at Orbe Station, being built by the owner, Mr Simon. The military colors somehow piqued my interest.

* The above context was a shameless copy of random creepypasta.

Despite being produced under the Unicorn version, it actually utilizes the old Marasai mold. Expect mediocre articulation, simple and plain details, obvious seams, lack of action base support and stoic articulation.

BUT! Don't dismiss it just yet. All that somehow works to its favor, especially when the color is a nice khaki green and dark green combination.

Because you see, this Marasai has become the ideal foot soldier. Grunts to wage war against the Federation. Not that unsightly red color version. This one is prepared to get dirty and sacrificed.

With a decent arm's range of motion that allows some snazzy posing and that sweet Feyadeen Rifle, this Marasai will make a great addition to one's collection, with little work required too.

Making Zeon units has been pretty fun and I am still in love with the curvy suits but an unbiased rating is still required. The Marasai (Unicorn Version) gets a commendable 7/10 from me.

PS: People kinda associate the look with a roach and to be honest, I just don't see it. It resembles a beetle more.
