Joseph previously built an MG GP01 Fb and I thought it looked quite good, but the only available option for the 1/144 scale was the HGUC version. It honestly looked awkward with the McDonald's shoes and bell-bottom pants.
That was until the RG was released and I am one happy camper. Side note, I've always been confused; Full Vernier, Full Verniern, Full Verniarn, Full Burner, Full Burnern.
What the RG did was it made the feet slightly shorter and had a better downward slope that flowed smoother from the shin's curve. The calves didn't looked as big as it was segmented by the incorporated panel lines and pseudo frame details.
Apart from that, the torso, particularly, the waistline looked much more masculine and conformed to the shoulder's outline. I wonder which gym the GP01Fb goes to.
I didn't bother with the chest and shoulder verniers as I feel squeamish and always want to use a knife and scrape them off because it pisses me off somewhat. Like trypophobia.
But the backpack thrusters, oh they're a welcomed sight. Very moveable and that visible inner frame for the verniers, just so sexy.
Lik the GP01 base unit, I enjoyed my time building it and would give this a 9/10, a slight decline from the GP01 since I've always preferred the GP01 over this.
However, it's always best to get both because they're really good releases.
