I first apologize for some of the blurry pictures, some of it caused by the reflection of the plating. Since I'm not a Hyaku Shiki fan, I can't be bothered to correct them and have therefore decided to proudly showcase my non-existent photographic skill. You have my blessings if you were to become blind due to the terrible photos.
This is the HGUC version of the Hyaku Shiki, not the GFF version nor the HGUC one with the Mega Cannon thingy. For a plated unit, it's surprisingly quite cheap, much cheaper than the Delta Gundam although there is a reason why. The plating is not as awesome, since it's a little darker shade of blingy gold.
Hyaku Shiki is actually a proverb meaning "You can be ugly inside as long as you're beautiful outside". Using my Gundam knowledge, what this means is, "You can take attention away from the crappy articulation by mesmerizing the fools with shiny gold plating".
Since there won't be any action poses, you can ogle the plating [And the fingerprints]. Please do message me if there's any inappropriate nude shots of me in the reflection. This is a Gundam review blog and strictly no NSFW stuff allowed. At least not of me.
Well, what can I say, other than the gold plating, the proportion is meh, the accessories are just alright and the articulation is laughable. But given the cheap price and again, the gold plating, I'll give this kit a 6.5/10.
I believe the other plated version in the 1/144 Gryphios Set is much, much better looking.
However, if Bandai releases the RG version, you can be damn sure I'll get that RG Gryphios War Set. Cause the Hyaku Shiki desperately needs the proportions of the Delta Gundam.
