RX-78-1 Gundam

This was my third Gundam Fix Figuration (GFF) and the major reason I bought it was due to the Full Armor mode included. Nonetheless, I shall do a separate review for the RX-78-1 Gundam kit.

I like the color scheme, very jungle warfare vibe and wished that the MG was brought into a HG 1/144 version but that has not materialized. So, the GFF was the next best thing. I believe this was the first released GFF and it's interesting that it has a shaded appearance to it. Not sure if its manufacturing defect or intended.

I also just realized that Bandai made an updated GFF version of this which is far more detailed and better looking.

There's no included beam rifle, beam saber or any other armaments for the RX-78-1. Only hand and backpack equipment for the FA version but no matter, the simple looks is quite appreciated.

There's quite a number of seamlines, flash and nubs on the GFF series, so I won't bother mentioning them again in future GFF posts. It is to be expected, along with warping.

Oh! And expect no action pose too. It's impossible thanks to the tight and limited articulation plus the equipment will fall off. So no attempts to trying to pose GFF.

Overall, it is actually a decent but forgettable GFF. For the RX-78-1 itself, it's a 4/10. Kinda empty as compared to the RG version but hey, nothing beats the RG version anyway.
